Janelle Hall to replace Sally Wiggin on WTAE noon news

WTAE new anchor Janelle Hall

Janelle Hall will replace Sally Wiggin as anchor on WTAE's Channel 4 Action News at Noon effective immediately, the station announced July 1.

Hall is also the traffic and breaking news anchor on WTAE's morning news. She joined the station as a general assignment reporter in September 2004.

Wiggin announced her new role as host of “WTAE Chronicle,” an ongoing series of hour long news specials, in June.

In addition to “Chronicle,” Wiggin plans to continue her involvement in “WTAE Black & Gold Primetime” and will continue to report for WTAE Channel 4 Action News on a regular basis.
