Premieres and popular repertoire will fill Sunday's concert by the Hot Pink Harps at Carnegie Mellon University.

Directed by Pittsburgh Symphony principal harp Gretchen Van Hoesen, the ensemble of 10 harpists will give the first performances of “Port au Prince” and “Jazzy” by Bernard Andres. The program also includes transcriptions of Claude Debussy's Petite Suite, Sanctus and In Paradisium from Gabriel Faure's Requiem, and “Simple Gifts” — the Quaker tune made famous in Aaron Copland's ballet “Appalachian Spring.”

The concert starts at 7 p.m. Sunday at Kresge Recital Hall, CMU School of Fine Arts, Oakland. Admission is free.
