'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. Most are Americans working for money and/or drugs. This series reports how their operations have a major impact on life for residents and the environment along the border — and beyond.

The United States Air Force Concert band and Singing Sergeants will perform a free concert April 2 at the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum in Oakland.

The 7 p.m. concert is part of a 10-day tour through Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio.

Tickets can be picked up at Soldiers & Sailors, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to USAF Band Tickets, c/o Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum, 4141 Fifth Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
