John Mayer tour includes stop in Burgettstown

John Mayer is getting ready to embark on his first tour in three years, and it will include a stop Aug. 25 at First Niagara Pavilion in Burgettstown.

The tour is in support of 2012's “Born and Raised,” which topped the Billboard 200. It kicks off July 6 at Milwaukee's SummerFest and continues into October, with more than 40 stops. “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips is opening on most of the dates, including the Pittsburgh-are show.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 30; prices were not available yet. Details:
