Convenience store chain Sheetz Inc. of Altoona said on Thursday it plans to build a 2,200-square-foot employee health and wellness center at its distribution facility in Claysburg, south of Hollidaysburg.

The fitness center for employees and their families is scheduled to open next fall.

It will be part of a 10,000-square-foot facility that includes conference center.
