LaBarge Inc. of St. Louis, which provides electronics manufacturing services and has a plant in East Pittsburgh, said Tuesday it was acquired by Ducommun Inc. of Los Angeles.

The deal was approved by LaBarge stockholders on June 23. LaBarge will be renamed Ducommun LaBarge Technologies and will continue to operate its East Pittsburgh plant, where about 250 workers are employed, spokeswoman Colleen Clements said.

Ducommun serves the aerospace industry with manufactured components.
