I recently attended the 93rd anniversary and homecoming of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Cardale. The Rev. Marvin Wright is pastor. Last month former pastor Robert Shipman of Prince of Peace Baptist Church, Philadelphia, was speaker. He also brought his mime group. A delicious dinner was served and the musical selections were outstanding.

Readers, 93 years is a wonderful record for a church to be in existence. It was a beautiful afternoon of fellowship.

Enjoy the autumn weather.

Patricia Walker is a Scottdale resident.
