• The Baltimore Ravens received a surprise visit from injured star Ray Lewis, who was placed on the injured reserve-designated to return list more than three weeks ago. The Pro Bowl linebacker (triceps) said he plans to return to the team but didn't specify if he meant this season or 2013. “I'm working hard and looking forward to coming back and helping this team,” the 17-year veteran said in a statement.

• The Oakland Raiders will be without their top two running backs for Sunday's game in Baltimore after Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson missed a third consecutive day of practice with high ankle sprains. Taiwan Jones and fullback Marcel Reece have been splitting reps.

• New England Patriots rookie running back Brandon Bolden has been suspended without pay for four games for violating the league's policy on performing enhancing substances.

• Running back DeMarco Murray (foot) will miss his fourth consecutive game when the Dallas Cowboys visit Philadelphia on Sunday.

• Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels (back) was “very limited' in practice and could miss Sunday's game in Chicago.

• Minnesota Vikings receiver Percy Harvin (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday against Detroit.

• Quarterback Jake Locker is set to start for the Tennessee Titans on Sunday against Miami in his first game in more than a month since separating his left, non-throwing shoulder.

• The Jacksonville Jaguars, who have lost six games in a row, are sticking with quarterback Blaine Gabbert. Coach Mike Mularkey says he has no plans to switch to backup Chad Henne following Thursday night's 27-10 loss to the Colts.
