House to be condemned after Friday morning fire

Firefighters battle a two-alarm fire at a house on Lilac Avenue Friday November 23, 2012 in Ross. All of the four occupants got out safe but, a cat was unaccounted for according to Ross Fire Marshall John Reubi. Up to ten companies were on scene and they had a tough time battle the blaze due to a loaded and inaccessable attic Reubi said. The fire started at around 8:15 am and there were no injuries. The Allegheny County Fire Marshall was on scene to assist Ross in the investigation.

Fire destroyed a house on Lilac Street in Ross on Friday.
Firefighters spent about four hours extinguishing the fire that began around 8 a.m. under an outside deck, authorities said.
Ross Fire Marshal John Reubi said officials would condemn the home, which cannot be rebuilt.
Four people lived there but no one was injured.
