Buckwalter, 54, of Robinson, is retiring from the Air National Guard after serving '24 years, 11 months, and 16 days.' He retires as a senior master sergeant with the 171st Air National Guard where he was a boom operator for the last 20 years. He chose to ride his unicycle 8 miles to the party, where he will meet his wife and get a ride home afterwards.
