Sponsored by the Military Order of the Purple Heart, about 1,000 volunteers and family members placed 5,049 wreaths at the graves honoring veterans of each branch of the military.

About 500 lunches were prepared and donated to the Light of Life Rescue Mission, along with a check for $20,000 from the Boys Soccer Boosters. At the beginning of the soccer season, the players asked friends and family to pledge money for each goal scored, resulting in the $20,000 donation. After scoring 93 goals in 17 games, the USC Boys soccer team went on to win the PIAA Class AAA championship for the second year in a row.
