Santa Claus spent the afternoon skating with children and adults, and also listening to the Christmas wishes of the youngsters. This year cold temperatures brought out a large crowd for the holiday event as the ice provided a chance to ice skate and share in the winter wonderland.

Klimovich, who is a resident at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Beaver Falls and a devout Catholic, had one wish for this Christmas - to meet the bishop in person. The Presents for Patients program arranged the visit, with Klimovich attending mass at the the St. John Vianney Parish, followed by meeting the bishop. Klimovich and the bishop sang 'O Little Town of Bethlehem' together in Polish. They also traded stories of Christmas past, and wishes for future Christmases. 'I had seen Bishop Zubik in the newspaper and on television, and I just wanted to meet him. He speaks very well, and I know he is a very faithful and dedicated man. I'm just so humbled at this wonderful opportunity,' said Klimovich about his visit.
