The intricate piece has been worked on at the space since Sunday, and will be thrown into the river as part of the extended ceremony on this upcoming Saturday. Mandala means 'circle' or 'sacred space' in Sanskrit and this particular mandala includes elements symbolizing the deity Chenrizig, who embodies the Buddha's loving-kindness and compassion.

No injuries were reported, but residents near the site heard the rumble and felt their house shake. The wind turbine is part of the Mill Run Wind Farm in Springfield Township.
