John Altdorfer | for the tribune-review - ALL IN THE FAMILY 'It's very close-knit — it's very-family oriented and everyone knows everyone,' says St. Alexis Catholic School alum Michel Conklin. 'There are teachers I had who are still there!' Throughout the evening, one was hard-pressed to find anyone attending the St. Alexis School Gala who didn't emphasize how tightly knit the Wexford academic institution is. Having raised more than $700K since the gala first began 11 years ago, the March 1 event also celebrated the school's 50th anniversary and was co-chaired by Michel and her husband, Mark Conklin, and Todd and Jennifer Salac.
