Bridgeville couple celebrates 66 years of marriage

Virgil and Shirley (Walton) Cengia, of Bridgeville, were married on May 19, 1952. They are the proud parents of two children, Joyce (Dave) Boothman and Paul (Cinda) Cengia. Virgil and Shirley have three grandchildren, Justin (Heather) Shadish, Kristin (Paul) Burdick and Megan (Leon) Dwinga, and four great-grandchildren, Colton and Camden Shadish, Aubrey Burdick and MacKenzie Dwinga. Shirley celebrated her 85th birthday on March 6, and Virgil will celebrate his 88th birthday May 26.

• Happy 93rd birthday wishes are sent to Marge Krieger of Asbury Heights, formerly of the Washington Garden Apartments in Carnegie, who celebrates May 22.

• Katie (Dunmyer) and David Zinski of Collier will celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary May 21. They are parents of one daughter, Evie.

• Chloe Elizabeth Allen of Rosslyn Heights will celebrate her 7th birthday May 19. She is the daughter of Mike and Lori Allen. Paternal grandparents are Mike and Linda Allen of Scott and maternal grandmother is Judy Wise of Carnegie.

• Happy 46th wedding anniversary to Esther (Maust) and Bob Chapman of Rosslyn Heights, who celebrate May 20. They are the parents of Nicole and Butch (Kellie) and also have one grandson, Bobby.

• Birthday greetings are sent to Marilyn Gearhart Townsend of Collier, who celebrates her special day May 21 with husband Pete and son Neil. Marilyn is a retired Carlynton School District teacher.

• Happy 13th wedding anniversary to Melissa (Snyder) and Dennis Lawrence of Collier, who celebrate May 21. They are the parents of two sons, Dylan and Devin.

• Happy 35th wedding anniversary to Colleen and Rich Head of Rosslyn Heights, who celebrate May 21. Colleen and Rich are the parents of three children, David (Jillian), Kim and Jamie. Colleen also celebrates her birthday May 20.

• Happy birthday to Brian K. Cummings of Collier, who celebrates May 24. Brian is the husband of Karen (Hughes) Cummings and son of Marianne and Terry Cummings of Fort Pitt. Brian and Karen are the parents of Brian and Jenna.

• Happy eighth wedding anniversary to Ashley (Heidenreich) and Brandon Bogdon of Collier, who celebrate May 22. Ashley and Brandon are the parents of daughter Mila and son Blake, and Brandon is also dad to son Ashton.

• Birthdays this week include Jake Seitz, Nathan Collavo, David Schwartzmiller, Chelsea Corba, Franni Kolle, Clem Rolin, John Shimatzki, Austin Sukolsky, Susan Bryan, Pat Zinger, Andy Skvarca and Karen Pajak.

• Happy 27th birthday to Stephanie Dwinga, who celebrates May 23, and to her brother, Lee Dwinga, who celebrates his 30th on May 22. They are the children of Patty (Mauti) and Leon Dwinga of Collier.
