Comanche County, Oklahoma
Mark Petering

State police from Kittanning say they have found a man wanted by the state of Oklahoma on multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants.

Mark Petering, 39, currently of Worthington, is charged in Pennsylvania with a summary count of operating a vehicle without a valid inspection.

That uninspected car led state troopers to stop Petering in Kittanning on the afternoon of June 4, they say in court documents. A search of his name through criminal databases revealed several warrants out of Comanche County, Oklahoma.

According to online records, Petering is wanted for at least 10 counts of issuing bad checks in Oklahoma. That state has requested his extradition, according to police.

Petering is currently housed in the Armstrong County Prison ahead of his extradition hearing, according to police.
