Valley High School prepares to host 71st annual Alle-Kiski Valley Marching Band Festival

Ten high school marching bands will gather for the 71st annual Alle-Kiski Valley Marching Band Festival on Wednesday at Valley High School in New Kensington.

Bands from Burrell, Deer Lakes, Freeport Area, Highlands, Kiski Area, Leechburg Area, Penn Hills, Plum, Springdale and Valley high schools will participate.

The festival begins at 7 p.m. The rain date is Thursday. Valley High School is at 703 Stevenson Blvd., New Kensington.
