PARKS TWP. — State police say they found a marijuana growing operation, guns and money Tuesday inside a trailer along Piper Hill Road.

Police said a man at 1276 Piper Hill Road refused to allow police inside and a search warrant was obtained.

State police Lt. Tom Dubovi said the search revealed 4½ pounds of processed marijuana, about $2,000, five rifles, one shotgun, five semi-auto handguns, one SKS assault rifle, and an AK-47 assault rifle.

Police also confiscated six surveillance cameras and a computer hard drive, marijuana growing equipment, a bullet-proof vest, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

The man who refused entry is under investigation.

Police charged the trailer's owner, Anthony L. Righi, 24, with drug sales and possession and having drug paraphernalia.

He was in the Armstrong County Jail on Wednesday in lieu of $25,000 bond pending a preliminary hearing.

After his arraignment, police learned that two .22-caliber rifles found in the trailer were reported stolen from Washington Township. Dubovi said Righi will be charged with receiving stolen property.

Ownership of the other firearms is being determined, police said.
