Robbers strike Wendy's at The Waterworks mall
Pittsburgh police continue to investigate Thursday night's robbery of the Wendy's restaurant in the 800 block of Freeport Road at The Waterworks shopping mall near Aspinwall.
Two men who wore hooded sweatshirts and brandished handguns entered the restaurant shortly before 10 p.m., according to a police report.
They got an unknown amount of cash and fled on foot without further incident.No one was reported injured.
One robber wore a yellow hoodie and black mask. The other had a black hoodie with the image of an eagle on the front.
Anyone with information is asked to call robbery detectives at 412-323-7151.
