A Brackenridge woman is accused of providing sexual services at a massage service she operated above a Tarentum tanning salon, police said.

Fang Liu, 47, of the 800 block of Cleveland Ave., was arrested Monday at the Total Tanning Co. at 410 E. Sixth Ave.

She was charged by an undercover state trooper, who alleges that he paid $30 for a half-hour massage.

When that was done, the vice unit trooper allegedly asked what could be provided for a $20 tip. At her direction, he took the rest of his clothes off and Liu allegedly used her hands to perform a sex act on him.

According to an affidavit, the trooper asked her to stop because his cellphone was ringing. He then informed other troopers waiting outside, who entered the business and arrested Liu.

An online site advertises a “Chinese full body massage” at the Total Tanning Co. The advertisement and a telephone number, asking that messages be left, were still in operation Thursday.

Liu was arraigned and released on her own recognizance pending a July 9 preliminary hearing at the office of Brackenridge District Judge Carolyn Bengel. Tarentum police say they received numerous complaints and letters about the business, which had operated more than a year.
