Ligonier Country Market features reclaimed building materials facility

Wednesday, June 26, 2013, 9:00 p.m.

Shop Demo Depot will be the special feature at the Ligonier Country Market, 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Shop Demo Depot is a social enterprise program managed by Westmoreland Community Action.

Their mission is to reduce landfill waste by reclaiming building materials and making them available to the public at an affordable cost.

All profits from the depot are recycled back into community initiatives including early education, prevention, food bank and to those in the community who are in need.

Area residents are also invited to make donations or shop at the depot located in Mt. Pleasant. For more information, visit the features booth at the market Saturday morning.
