Couples looking for a classy and romantic way to wine and dine their sweetheart this coming Valentine's Day weekend, can come eat and dance the night away to the “Sounds of Sinatra and More.”

The Feb. 15 show at The Willow Room in Rostraver Township will feature performer Nick Fiasco.

The show will include dinner featuring caramelized onion soup, crab Florentine stuffed shrimp, sliced filet, creme brulee, one complimentary beverage and a cash bar.

Tickets are $35. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and dinner starts at 7 p.m. For tickets, call 724-379-5666.

The Monroeville native has been taking his Frank Sinatra impersonation to stages around the country for the past decade.

“I take pride in providing top-notch vocals and phrasing you just don't hear very often in today's music world,” Fiasco said. “And, I combine it with a riveting stage persona and huge repertoire.”

Fiasco said he was raised in an Italian family where songs from the “Rat Pack” era filled his home.

Over the years, he grew to love singing — but only for himself.

“I'd sing in the car, and my wife would tell me I should do something with it,” he said.

About 10 years ago, he was at a wedding where his friends urged him to get up and sing.

“Everyone just loved it and really encouraged me,” he said.

Before long, Fiasco was entertaining as the legendary Sinatra.

“People always tell me that I look and sound like Frank Sinatra in his prime, complete with blue eyes, tuxedo and fedora,” Fiasco said. “They think it's a Sinatra CD playing, until they actually see me singing it live.”

His repertoire includes over 400 songs. In addition to Sinatra, he performs hits from Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Perry Como, Englebert Humperdink and others.

Fiasco says his shows also include comedy and audience participation, much like the Las Vegas-style shows from the Rat Pack's heydey.

While his shows cater to those who grew up with the Rat Pack generations, Fiasco said there are many younger people now finding it “cool” to enjoy the vintage music.

“It's like good food or good fashions, some things never go out of style,” he said.

Fiasco said he plans on turning up the romance at The Willow Room show.

“And if any couple in attendance requests a song with special meaning to them that they would like to dance to, I will be more than happy to oblige,” he said.

Fiasco said he is fortunate that he can entertain as a full-time job. In addition to public concerts, he can be booked for private events such as weddings, anniversaries, special birthdays and corporate parties. For more information, call 412-337-1033 or go to nickfiasco.com.
