Relay for Life brings together Mon Valley school districts
Hundreds of people of all ages came out to support the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Mon Valley on Friday.
The event was held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Charleroi Area High School Stadium.
Following the opening ceremony, the event featured games and activities throughout the day for students, a survivor ceremony and a luminaria ceremony.
California Area and Monessen school district students participated for the first time, joining students from Belle Vernon Area, Charleroi Area, Elizabeth Forward, Frazier and Ringgold.
