Penn Township police have arrested two men they say committed three residential burglaries last fall.

Chief John Otto said Corey John Milne, 22, of Turtle Creek, and Kevin Owen Kerlin, 22, of Penn, entered homes during daylight hours and took $5,765 worth of cash, jewelry and electronics.

Otto accused them of breaking into a Slack Road home on Oct. 23, a Blank Road home on Oct. 24 and an Ashbaugh Road home on Nov. 9.

Both are charged with burglary, conspiracy, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, theft and receiving stolen property.

State police assisted with the arrests, Otto said.

Milne and Kerlin were arraigned by Hempfield District Judge Mark Mansour. Both are being held at the Westmoreland County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bond.
