ATV raffle will benefit Penn Hills Police Fallen Heroes Fund

'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. Most are Americans working for money and/or drugs. This series reports how their operations have a major impact on life for residents and the environment along the border — and beyond.

A raffle for a Polaris all-terrain vehicle, or ATV, will take place Dec. 14 to benefit the Penn Hills Fallen Heroes Police Fund.

Tickets are $5 each, and are available at Jackson's Hardware on Universal Road, Pasquale's Pizza on Saltsburg Road and Bill's Hometown Pharmacy on Unity Center Road.

The winner will be drawn and announced on Dec. 14, and the winner will be able to complete a title transfer and pick up the ATV at Penn Hills Volunteer Fire Department No. 223.
