Penn Hills boxer will compete on all-heavyweight undercard

Penn Hills native and boxer Freddy Latham Jr. will be part of an all-heavyweight undercard later this month during a night of boxing in Weirton, W.Va.

Made Men Boxing Promotions will present an April 20 card at the Serbian American Cultural Center in Weirton. It will feature Latham, undefeated featherweight Ronell Green, the professional debut of Penn Hills and Bowling Green football alum Angelo Magnone, Josh Stansbury, Nelson Best and Daniel Martz.

Latham, who is 2-0 as a professional fighter with two knockout wins, is a 6-foot-3-inch, 225-pound veteran of nearly 60 amateur fights.

General admission tickets are $20, and the fights will begin at 7:30 p.m. For tickets or more information, call 412-759-0407.
