'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. Most are Americans working for money and/or drugs. This series reports how their operations have a major impact on life for residents and the environment along the border — and beyond.

Thursday, April 4, 2013, 8:55 p.m.

To help promote its spring musical, “All Shook Up,” Penn Hills High School will host an April 13 car cruise at the new high school.

The cruise will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at the front driveway of the high school, located at 309 Collins Drive.

The afternoon will feature cars, food, music and more. Those in attendance will have a chance to pick a People's Choice Award winner from the cars on display. Proceeds will benefit the musical, which will take place April 19 and 20 and April 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m., and an April 21 matinee at 2 p.m.

Those interested in showing their car are asked to arrive between 1:30 and 3 p.m.
