2-vehicle crash knocks out power, ties up traffic in Penn Hills

Penn Hills police and emergency crews were on the scene of a mid-afternoon crash on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, involving two vehicles on the 300 block of Rodi Road. One of the vehicles, an SUV, was flipped onto its roof.

A two-vehicle crash in the 300 block of Rodi Road in Penn Hills at about 1 p.m. Friday caused several businesses to lose power and tied up traffic.

A Duquesne Light spokesman said there are downed wires, which crews are working to repair.

A detour is set up so motorists may avoid the accident spot.
