'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. PennDOT work crews will be doing patching work this week in Penn Hills. Crews will be working on Plum Street between Allegheny River Boulevard and Hamil Road, on Hulton Road between Verona and Milltown-Unity roads, and on Stotler Road between Saltsburg and Universal roads.

Patching work will also take place on portions of Golden Mile Highway (Route 286) and Hulton Road in Plum.
