'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. PennDOT and the Federal Highway Administration are taking public comment on plans to replace the Wilkins Township bridge which carries Route 22 over Thompson Run.

Public plans will be on display at the Irene J. Pohl Municipal Building, 110 Peffer Rd., Turtle Creek.

The display will show design plans and detour information, and will be available to view through Aug. 29 during regular business hours.
