A section of Harrison City-Export Road in Harrison City will be closed to traffic in both directions from 7 a.m. Monday until 5 p.m. Tuesday because of a road-reconstruction project, Penn Township police Chief John Otto said Friday morning.

The road will be closed to through traffic between Route 130 and Raymaley Road, but drivers will have access to businesses within the construction zone. A detour will be posted.

West Penn Power will be relocating utility poles while the road is closed.
