Dance team to host juvenile leukemia benefit Saturday at Brentwood High School

'American Coyotes' Series

Traveling by Jeep, boat and foot, Tribune-Review investigative reporter Carl Prine and photojournalist Justin Merriman covered nearly 2,000 miles over two months along the border with Mexico to report on coyotes — the human traffickers who bring illegal immigrants into the United States. Most are Americans working for money and/or drugs. This series reports how their operations have a major impact on life for residents and the environment along the border — and beyond.

Dance FX Dance and Twirl team is hosting “Winterguard Music in Motion Show,” which will benefit the Sara Frey Juvenile Leukemia Foundation.

It will be held at Brentwood High School on Saturday at 2 p.m.

There will be an afternoon filled with entertainment in dance, twirling and guard routines by students from all over the area.

Also available with be homemade food concessions in the cafeteria along with an ice cream stand, several Chinese auction baskets donated by the local community and a bake sale. Admissions will be collected at the entrances to the gymnasium.

Sara Frey is a Brentwood student who was diagnosed with juvenile leukemia last year after coming back from the indoor championships in Wildwood, N.J.

She performs on the Dance FX Twirling team and the students are reaching out to help this close-knit local family.
