State police at Uniontown are looking for Wayne Nicholas Hillyard, 22, for allegedly sending a 12-year-old girl sexually explicit text messages in January.

Charges of attempted sexual exploitation of children, corruption of minors and harassment were filed Thursday before District Judge Ronald Haggerty Jr. Court documents list Hillyard's residence as South Connellsville.

The incident was brought to the attention of police when the girl told her father a man was sending her messages asking for naked pictures.

Anyone with information about Hillyard's whereabouts is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.
