Government offices, post offices closed for Martin Luther King Day

Federal, state, county and municipal government offices will be closed on Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

State liquor stores, post offices, district justice offices, banks and PennDOT driver's license and photo centers will be closed. However, customers will be able to obtain products and services online at dmv.state.pa.us.

Most school districts will have a scheduled day off for the holiday.

Garbage collection in the City of Pittsburgh and a number of other communities will be delayed a day.
