A kindergarten student was left alone on a bus after falling asleep on his way to school.

School officials said no one knew the boy was on the bus until the Baldwin-Whitehall School District driver got back to the garage.

The superintendent said the boy had fallen asleep in one of the seats and wasn't discovered until the driver went to check on the emergency door locks.
