An Indiana Township man has been arrested for stabbing his wife multiple times, authorities said.

Winston James Parrish, 25, is being held in the Allegheny County Jail. He is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and other charges. He is expected to be arraigned later today.

Parrish is alleged to have stabbed his wife at 11 Greene Drive in Indiana Township Friday afternoon. He was arrested later in Frazier, emergency dispatchers said.

Parrish's wife is in critical condition at a local hospital, police said.
