Officials shut down traffic in the Squirrel Hill Tunnels Wednesday morning as Pittsburgh firefighters investigated a report of a light fixture on fire, an emergency dispatch supervisor said.
A caller reported the fire about 8:45 a.m., the supervisor said. Firefighters reopened outbound traffic at 8:55 a.m. and then reopened inbound traffic shortly after when they did not find a fire, the supervisor said.
