Former President Bill Clinton will stop in Pittsburgh on Monday for a grassroots event as part of a three-city flyover that includes stops in Scranton and Philadelphia, according to a spokesman for the Obama campaign in Pennsylvania.

Details were not yet available.

Clinton campaigned for Johnstown Democrat Mark Critz in his House race last month in Western Pennsylvania.

Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan of Wisconsin will visit Middletown Pennsylvania outside Harrisburg Saturday, followed by a rally in Bucks County by the party's presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Sunday.

Recent polling shows the race tightening in the Keystone State with both campaigns pouring advertising dollars and visits into the closing weekend.
