Fisher Hall was evacuated on Monday evening after what Duquesne University officials called a “non-specific” bomb threat was found.

School and city bomb squad personnel searched the building and found no signs of explosives, said Bridget Fare, the school's assistant vice president of public affairs.

The school sent out a text alert to students at 6:38 p.m. notifying them that a note with the threat was found and school police were evacuating and searching the building, which houses classrooms along Forbes Avenue. The building was reopened around 9 p.m.
