WILKINSBURG
A man who lost his law license in 2008 has been charged with multiple counts of theft, forgery and unauthorized practice of law.
Allegheny County police say Allan Gallimore, 58, of Wilkinsburg misrepresented himself as an attorney and forged the signatures of two lawyers when he filed divorce, estate and other civil cases. Gallimore also is accused of taking $18,000 from the estate of one client.
Gallimore faces nine counts of unauthorized practice of law, seven counts of forgery and two counts of theft. He was released from jail after posting bond and awaits a preliminary hearing Monday morning in Pittsburgh Municipal Court.
