Son of West View Police chief killed in McKnight Road accident

The son of the West View Police chief died in a car accident on McKnight Road Sunday evening, authorities said.

Jeffrey Fromlak, 26, died around 6:30 p.m. He is the son of Chief Bruce Fromlak. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office plans an autopsy.

McCandless did not release details of the accident.
