Beaver County school bus driver charged after encouraging kids to fight

ROCHESTER — A Beaver County school bus driver has been charged with endangering children after police say he let 2 students fight instead of intervening.

North Sewickley Township police charged Braden Hollis, of Baden, after viewing surveillance video of the March 4 incident in which police say Hollis can be heard telling other students to “clear the aisle and let them fight.”

Police charged Hollis under a law requiring guardians or those in a position of trust to care for children. Online court records don't list an attorney for Hollis, who didn't immediately return a call for comment Wednesday and doesn't have an attorney listed in court records.

R. J. Rhodes Transit says it is cooperating with investigators and that the driver is no longer working in the Freedom Area School District.
