One person died in a two-car crash Saturday afternoon in Sandy Lake, state police in Mercer said.

The crash happened about 3:50 p.m. on Sandy Lake-Polk Road, police said. Investigators remained at the scene of the accident after 8 p.m. Police did not provide additional information.
