Mt. Washington community group head stepping down

The Mt. Washington Community Development Corp. is looking for an executive director for the second time in less than a year.

Jason Kambitsis will step down to take a position with Deeplocal, a Strip District-based innovation studio, the development group said.

Kambitsis, who assumed the Mt. Washington position in August, replaced Christopher Beichner, who resigned in September 2012 to become executive director of the Allegheny Land Trust. The Mt. Washington CDC will install an interim director Jan. 6 and begin the search process for a replacement.
