Fire destroys Fayette warehouse

Scottdale volunteer firefighters Jason Suitor (front) and Mark Castin (back) finish off the final flames at the collapsed Chroma TV & Appliances warehouse at 1118 Springfield Pike in Connellsville Township. It was destroyed after a fire broke out around 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. More than 20 fire companies fought the blaze, according to a Fayette County 911 dispatcher. The business used the warehouse to store televisions, mattresses and other items.

A fire Saturday morning destroyed a Connellsville Township warehouse. The fire broke out at about 11:15 a.m. at the Chroma TV & Appliances warehouse on Springfield Pike in Connellsville Township, according to the Fayette County 911 dispatch center and a company employee.
