The body of a missing Wilmerding woman was found floating Wednesday where Turtle Creek flows into the Monongahela River.

Family members identified the body of Ruth Ann Mullennix, 55, which was found about 6:30 p.m., floating in the waters underneath the Union Railroad bridge in East Pittsburgh, a spokesman for the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office said. Mullennix was reported missing on March 17. An autopsy is scheduled Thursday.

A Youngwood volunteer firefighter was struck and killed by a train on March 22 while searching for Mullennix beneath the Westinghouse Bridge in North Versailles.
