I-279 crash injures motorcyclist

A crash on a Pittsburgh highway Sunday afternoon sent a motorcyclist to a hospital.

The collision with a car happened about 3:40 p.m. in a southbound lane of Interstate 279 near the Hazlett Street exit, state police said.

Paramedics took the motorcyclist to a hospital. Police did not discuss the extent of the motorcyclist's injuries.
