Man in critical condition after stabbing in Elliott

One man was in custody and another in critical condition at Allegheny General Hospital after an apparent stabbing Sunday night in Elliott, authorities said.

Allegheny County 911 supervisors said a man arrived by private means at Allegheny General Hospital, and officials there notified police at about 9:30 p.m.

Zone 6 police said they took one person into custody on Lorenz Street, at or near the scene of the crime, as of 10 p.m. Homicide detectives were investigating.
