Let the Brett Keisel beard shearing commence.

On Thursday, Keisel, a retired Pittsburgh Steelers fan favorite, and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC will host their sixth annual “Shear Da Beard” fundraiser at Jergel's Rhythm Grille in Warrendale.

Last year, the event raised over $67,000 for Children's Hospital's division of hematology/oncology.

Surprise celebrity barbers will conduct the shaving and Randy Baumann of WDVE 102.5 FM will emcee.

The event includes food, drinks, door prizes and Donnie Iris, who will perform live.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Thursday, followed by a 7 p.m. shaving ceremony. Tickets are $50 a person in advance, or $55 on the day of the event.
