One woman was killed and another injured when they were ejected from a vehicle in an early-morning crash in Washington County on Saturday.

Patricia Irene Dailey, 32, of Bulger was pronounced dead at the scene, said Coroner Timothy Warco. She was in a gray Chevrolet Malibu traveling west in an eastbound lane on Route 22 when the right front portion of the car struck a concrete bridge support at the Bavington Road overpass at about 12:50 a.m.

The other woman, Leah M. Scott, 30, of Langeloth, suffered serious bodily injuries and was taken by helicopter to a hospital, state police said.

It was not immediately clear who was driving the vehicle.

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the crash.
